This is some hard stuff

A nice size shag bark hickory trunk floated down the creek during a storm and deposited it self on the bank on my property. It was nicely limbed up and still green. I'm not normally a lucky person but I'll take this as luck and cut it up. This is some of the best wood to cook with so it's a shame to burn it all for heat but it has a long burn. I'll be cooking with some of it tomorrow.

Man those Brats look good.  Ive been out cutting grass since about 7am and Im hungry!

I'm telling you they were some of the best I've put in my mouth. They were "Johnsonville Fire Cracker" my wife found in Publix. Mildly spicy.
