He Had a couple Poulans and three Sears saws. The Poulans were Frankensaws similar to a 3450 and a 3750.
Kevin did all the cutting today. I just helped get things for him.

One ash was 18" DBH
The other was 14" DBH

I had a Dolmar 6800 with a 24" bar in the mix of saws. The Poulan had a 20" bar

Had fun Jim and was nice talking to ya. Also glad to be able to help good folk out.

That 6800i is a beast with the 24" that saw needs no help.    The poulan was 365 20" with big carb and intake.

The poulan I did the other tree with was the craftsman 3.3 335 with 3450 piston. 16" 325

3 craftsman top handles were just saws I picked up on the way to your place. Those are older 38cc poulan with powersharp. One has anti-vide rear and top handle.  2 of the rollernose bars. Blue Red Yellow colors.

I ran that new to me craftsman 3.3 that is the 335 with 3450 piston on the last smaller tree.  325 16".  That saw is impressive runner stock.

Got to fine tune the project.  365 with the 137 big carb liked 3 out on L.  All was fine after that when idling between cuts. Ran fine with 20" buried. But it wasnt nothing like running that dolmar. Thats a nice saw.

This Dolmar 6800iH and it's predecessor the Dolmar 120Si are the same saw except the brake on 6800 has an inertia function.

After owning this Dolmar for several years, I find it a most impressive saw power wise. The drawbacks are perhaps the weight of my example has it is the heated handle version and the fact that these saws have a plastic oil tank that is actually part of the handle assembly. The only other 6800 I've seen had a hole burned in the oil tank due to poor upkeep of the muffler. The muffler was damaged due to an accident and not repaired. The muffler was loose and leaked onto the oil tank. They kept on using the saw. My example also has huge double dogs like on a 7900.

These Dolmars carry a good bit of rpm in the cut and run a 7 pin rim. I ran it against an older Echo at cut4fun's house and the Dolmar ran much faster than the big Echo. But the Echo had a 8 pin rim and cut through the log just as fast.

The NOS Sandvik 24" bar was purchased from cut4fun.

The "i" in the model number denotes a Tillotson injection style carburetor. The carburetor doesn't have a choke butterfly. Instead there is a valve in the carburetor attached to the choke lever that allows the carburetor pump to squirt fuel into the carburetor venturi to prime the engine. Most times the engine will start and run with the choke "on" though rather rich.

My saw was not used professionally so it is a rather nice example.

Man oh man was my by ear tune off.  @660magnum remember when  I said the PP365 didnt seem to have the zip it should. Well she was pig fat
checked with tach after few ash cuts and it was low 10K's. She is now up closer to where it should be in low 13's.  Thinking max WOT is around 13.8K in the specs.

Let me know when would be good to get those longer logs I left up there. Thanks again.
