I've cut with Kevin's Poulan Pro 415, and with the POSSIBLE exception of the Echo, nothing on that list will cut with it!
The others would have a much better chance against my 415 (which is a great running saw) but Kevin's 415 put mine back in the truck in short order.

Mike

I dont ever recall me running your 415 Mike. But you think there is that much difference?

I put my 425 top on my 505 one time and couldnt tell any difference between 425 and my 415.  But then again the 425 top is a 415 just with updates oiler stuff, bearing etc.

I only listed the echo 6700 with a 7T for a reason.  Just didnt feel it would do well with a 8T.

Now maybe the echo 680 might be updated in porting etc to make a better showing? Heck maybe a echo 670 even?

no 562 Kevin, it would be the hands down winner, but this time it will be old school design, closed port 7 t poulan. Mufflers are way more open=10%
8x8 maybe 8t with the perfect operator but not 12x12.

Now port them all to the exact same compression.....would be a different story again

No Stihl's, you need to run my 038 super in that mix.

Was trying to keep it at the 4ci cut off = 65cc. Only threw the 6700 out there because it was here.

Now I thought about that stihl 036 pro 62cc I had it was a runner. But then again we are just comparing 65cc.

I've ran a demo stock 562 and it wouldnt hold a candle to the 415 I run cut for cut.  I just wasnt impressed with the one I ran, maybe something was wrong with it?

Ported saws comes down to who is doing the porting. Not the psi being the same.
