The 665 is strong. Cutting faster than a ported 562 is no slouch.  Maybe I should have bought one of the 665s.

I guess there might not be a reason to run that stock 562 now in the 12x12 dry cant to compare to the other stock unbroken in 665, eh dexterday  ;).  It could be ugly.  :D

So, let me get this in my tiny brain, one of those stock Solo 665s I sold out ran a ported 562XP on the third run (only fair run) by 4 tenths! :P

I know here a stock 562 can't run with a stock 365. Maybe somewhere, but not here.
We had a stock 550 and stock 562 timed in 8x8 poplar. 3 cuts.

562 7.85 secs
550 10.05 secs

ported 152 Efco, same chain as 550  7.65 secs

Like I have said before. That demo 562xp I ran I just thought it wasnt set right or still on 1st tank or something.  Was just real peaky IMO and easy to pull down in test cuts.  Maybe I was just spoiled over the years with good running saws and had way to high of expectations.

Now the stock 550xp and 545 I will take over stock 346 50cc here.  I ran 3/8 on all of them. 550 545 were just better IMO.

I get alot of Husky guys in the shop to buy bars, chains, etc. Seems to be a 50/50 split on the 550. Some prefer their old 346, some the new 550. We had a stock 545 along with the 550 and 562 to run. It may have been a bad saw because it was a very poor runner. MS241 made it look bad.

Bottom line for us, 500 series Huskies have been great for our Stihl sales numbers.

Anyway my vote is for the Solo. I know how strong my 675 was.

I will try and get a video tomorrow after work or Sunday of my stock 665 (only 2 tanks ran through it), a stock 562xp (probably 50 tanks or so), and my ported MS 362C-M (6 tanks).

My email quit working apparently, I have since changed it to a working email. Sorry for such a long wait on a response.

If I post a video here, will it embed it automatically?  Or is there a selection up top that I should put it in?
