Good question and I dont know.

Looking at the stihl 010 011 IPL

4 bolt

1120 030 2009 says 36mm  guessing 10

1120 020 2008   "  38mm  shows 2 rings

2 bolt shows 1 ring 36mm and 38mm  no part numbers for either shown on IPL

Piston pin part numbers the same on the 2 38mm shown in IPL

Measure the pistons and see. Pin to crown, total length and pin to bottom of skirts and let us know.

thanks Andrew I bought a parts saw and got customer going. pm me a price if customer leaves parts here I might need it. My piston is 38 mm. @cut4fun I have not had a 4 bolt piston open to measure and now that I discovered how easy it is to drop big end bearings I am hesitant to open a good cylinder. Starting to think two bolt and four bolt engines are totally different engines. May learn more if I read that workshop manual one more time. Really lost on time fooling with 011.
