Talking about fuel.

Funny story. Guy from work wants to borrow a trim saw. I fueled up a poulan XXV and 1800 for him with sharp chain. Now you know the tanks on those is about the size of your fist.

Well anyway guy returns them next day and I ask how did it go. He states well they ran good non stop 15-20 mins each and then they wouldnt stay running. Hmmmmm I thought.
Well when I got home I took fuel caps off and they were both bone dry.  :D

Sold him a electric chainsaw for $20 so he would never have to worry about running out of gas again.  ::)

About maybe 20 minutes is what you get out of the average trim saw, more or less .The XXV Poulans were a trim the apple tree in the back yard type of saw . Most never wore the first chain out .Cute little saws that died on the vine from inactivity .

When did the Stihl 020T start production and what year was the 020T renamed 200T. Trying to figure the age of a 020T. From - to?

I'm thinking about buying a used top handle. I know the 200t is the best. But how is the 020t, and 192t?

020T = early 200T before number change and flip caps. Just make sure 020T and not 20av etc. The 192T is another one of those saws I have past on several times at $100. To many horror stories about them and the PITA they are to get inside to work on.

I  actually past on a running 020T that is like the 200T for $150 not long ago. Just didnt need it or want to take time to make sure it was ok to flip.
