Can use your fingers,  tie strap, pop can cut up etc.


Chain I would get a stihl RSC for your needs.

I'll try that for the ring compressor.

I don't see a RSC on stihls website anymore. That is what is on the 660.

Do you know what caused the other top end to get smoked? 

Better fix that before throwing another top end on it if seals etc.

Yes I do. The previous owner was having problems with the saw not running right. His buddy took the card apart and it was dirty. He ran it a while and had the same problem. So he cleaned the carb and got a new gas can. He went to cut firewood and grabbed the wrong gas can, the one with regular gas in it. He bought a new 290 to replace this saw. The rings busted in it and wasted the cylinder.
