« on: March 15, 2017, 02:34:39 pm »
Does anyone know if a 024 stihl crank case will work with a 026 crank? also will a 026 cyl and piston work with the 026 crank in the 024 case? Thank You

I dont know these 024 at all. But I think it has to be a 024 super to swap with a 026.

IIRC the 024 crank that won't work has a non caged rod bearing late model 024/super and 026 has caged rod bearing.  Been a while since I read posts on this.  Was doing an OP upgrade on an 024 to MS260 adj. pump.  Total waste of time and $50 won't ever do it again or recommend doing it.
