Chainsaw Repair

It's about 7 above but I did take a peek at the saw .It says 034 AV but I measured the bore through the muffler and it's a super,48 mm .It has the muffler with 4 bolts like shown in the book for the 036. In fact the rear part has a shroud exactly like the 036 which is not shown on the IPL of the 034.Then again all that might be where it was made and when it was made as to what parts it might have

Probably either one would work .If it's too long use spacers on the bottom bolts .Too short either stack gaskets or use spacer #022 145 1200.That number was penciled in and might not be correct .My IPL book was used by a dealer and has notes every so often .I'm guessing at one time they might have a had a similar thing happen trying to match mufflers and left the note .
