When I first started doing redneck repairs I used a drywall screw.  But years back I made this for the tiny fly side 026 and been using it on everything since. = much easier

Oh I just did 2 066 impulse lines. I dont use oem molded lines. I use the same echo oem 3mmx6mm black lines for impulse lines. Only thing you hook it up on carb and not just slide into base.   Just the way I started doing them.
Havent tried this on a 44 yet. GL 
The 44 I did that got smashed I had pulled tank and done oem. So no help with info.
