066 poly Flywheel ?

Got a new toy 066 ;D the one I have has the metal Flywheel, i see that some models have a poly Flywheel. could I use a poly, and is there any benefits of using a poly flywheel ? also what Chain and sprocket would you guys recommend 404 :-\ Thanks

Pretty sure the metal flywheel was on the earlier version of 066 and poly on later 066 and 660. Dont think you can swap flywheels either.

My memory is bad on this now days being I got out of those awhile back.

The crankshaft and bearings are different with the poly flywheel engines. The crankcase is different for the bigger bearings.

We should share what we know... someone may learn...

I would run 3/8 chain and an 8 tooth sprocket. That's what I run on mine. Holds rpms well in the cut and you get some more chain speed. I think 404 is a little heavy for a 066/660 imo. I am talking stock.
