Here's one more Kevin I posted tonight on Facebook CR .
Stihl 090AV I bought brand new around 1993, I'll put it up for sale later this winter after a little more  polishing and restoration .

Yep the month or two of paper roll cutting nicely broke it in.
I have to check the compression with a gauge for a giggle.
It's got to have well over 200psi. There is no way I can pull it over without breaking something if I didn't use the decomp.

Yep sure will. I could have sold it a few times over the years. But backed out as I always found something for it to cut.

I thought Stihl stopped building 090's a few years ago,I know they are still really popular in other jungle countries. Up until a few years ago they were easy to find used around here.
One day a few years ago a friend wanted me to fix his worksaw for him,he was down on bucks and offered me an old 041 and Stihl Lightning on trade for my labour.I didn't want the 041 but took the old Lightning,it looked pretty dirty and sad. I never looked at it for a few years and then one day I sprayed it down with degreaser and hosed it off,by golly it was 100% complete and in beautiful shape. It was a "Lightning Super" (137cc),but a strange beast,it had AV mounts, a factory add-on full wrap handlebar, and original Stihl hardnose bar with 1/2" chain. I pulled the cyl. and everything was like new inside. Then some collector found I had it,offered me a ridiculous amount of money and she was gone...
I do have some photos somewhere of it.
