Got a 361 in a box of parts missing a few parts. The big end rod bearing is wasted. And a piece came up though the transfer and put a nasty gouge in the cylinder wall. It is on the bottom side of the transfer towards the base. Do you guys think that it will work to clean up and put another piston in it. The rest of the cylinder looks great. I think that it is low enough that it will still build compression.

If you're in a tight, you can clean it up and it will run for a while.

Thanks I will give it a go and see what happens. Won't have much money in it so if works for a while I will happy with that. It won't have to go out every day just some cutting here and there.

Looks like the transfer port area is pretty generous?

No thanks on that cut. Not a big fan of the 361. Just trying to put the one together that I have and play with it maybe or send it down the road.
