You must be a sucker for punishment. ;D A 66" bar on anything is going to be hard to handle without a stinger and a willing accomplice but if you really want to change the tip to 3/8.
You ain't a kidding about it's going to be hard to handle. Just carrying it into my shop from my truck, I knocked over a half dozen things and had to have the old lady to hold the door open for me to get it inside. I guarantee it's not going to punish this old out of shape fat boy to much ;D. Most of my time is spent wrenching on saws not running them.
 
I don't have to change bar tip to 3/8,  it just  has a round roller tip on it that's .058 gauge. It will work with any size of pitch of chain as long as the drivers .058 gauge. The only thing I have to change is the rim on the clutch drum on the saw to 3/8
