I think it is a fun project to do and if you are not as good at a complete tare down it will give you some good practice. Plus you will have a one of a kind saw.

Very nice job.   The polished case with the black and orange really do look good.   I do not know if I would have the patients to do a saw like that.   Really turned out great.

Thank you. I would do one again just not anytime soon. Used it all last week to cut timber. The clear coat has held up well only a few chips. The black paint not so much. But the rewind and sprocket cover seem to take a lot of abuse anyway. Nice thing is all I would need to do is tape of the Stihl logos on both sides and shoot it again. Thanks again for your help Roger.
