Got to get some heat into it for it to be in true running mode?

Saving from CRG today.  =  The early plate saws would pull the plating off during the first 20 hours as they broke in a Gilardoni cylinder. They started coating the pistons in Tin to help with scuffing from SN:181912016 during break in. They switched to the casting plant in Brazil in 2017 , those cylinders have STIHL BR on them and have a different port geometry to keep from pulling the rings off the piston.

 186691003 is the cut off between Gilardoni and BR. You could still pull plating after break in. That cylinder also looks like it may be a dud. The transfers are awfully sharp too. Do you have any bluing around the rod bearing ? You can start to get rod failure and pull plating also. That's not a cylinder that inspires confidence.

 I'd be interested to see how many hours it truly had. I know from 184316xxx back they had a two piece crank and changed to a three piece crank that helped keep rod failure down. Good luck on a cylinder I've been on backorder for 1 month with 3 of them.
