It should because an 036 cylinder is a direct bolt on

The 034 Super cylinder will bolt right up to an 034. The only issue you might run into is that you might have to shim the bottom bolt holes.
when you put the 034 muffler on the super cylinder there will be a 1/4 inch gap between the bottom muffler mounts and the crankcase, you can either buy a different muffler base or put a shim or a couple washers behind the bottom muffler bolts.

I'm not real certain exactly what the deal is with the cylinder cover either .With an 036 cylinder you have to carve the plastic up a little bit to get it to fit .

I have an 034 Super but I don't have an 036 to see if they are exactly the same or not .

It would certainly be nice to know because an 036 cylinder is a popular conversion for an 034 .

i show where you need to remove the plastic in the link i posted.
and it ain't no 1/4" between the muffler and case, it's less than an 1/8th. 2 small washers work fine for the clearance.

I'm pretty sure your 034 cylinder cover will fit with the 034 super cylinder with no modifing needed. the 034 cover won't fit on an 036 cylinder without some cutting. even though the 034 super and 036 are 48mm they are different, but the 034 and 034 super cylinders are similar enough that the cylinder cover from the 034 will work.
I could be wrong. i was Obviously  wrong on the 1/4" gap, but thought i said that two washers would work.
maybe 3/16" gap ;D

Yeah I had to shim out the muffler on the 034/036 that Kevin ended up with .Had to cut the cover too but it never really fit right .

If I had to do all over again I'd have found an 036 cover instead of all that fussing around .

I've got the old 034 cylinder plus an 034 super to be rebuilt .When I find the time I'll do some measurements to see what is what at least between the standard 034 and the super .

Dean ,whatever his name is from Washington sent that gent in Pa an 034/036 hybred .It wasn't lightnng fast but my heavens would that thing pull .So there's a lot of potential in that series of saw for no larger than they are .

I"m finally getting back into the mood to tinker with saws again since the weather broke . .I have several needing carb kits so the pulled the carb from the 034 Super to find the model number ,HK  Tilley .It could have been a Zama C3A so I had to check before I put in the order .

Now this thing has a slightly cooked piston but it's not that bad ,lots of compression .I had to find out so I gassed it up and that little thing took off like a rocket .I might just sand out the piston and give it go if it cleans up .
