That is what I have found out as well. Does that mean there are special diaghrams and gaskets. Was going to try a couple of kits to see if I can get what I need. Dont mind buying the stihl kit but my local dealer does not stock them and most likely they will not ever stock them.  Thanks for the part number. From what I can tell the IPL part number is 1145 007 1700 for the kit. The number you posted above is the number to order or get from your dealer.

It does seem the two numbers correspond with each other

660 what do you mean?. the 1145 number is in the IPL kit number. and the 7010 871 0227 number is the vendor/dealer number. They do this a lot with there carb kits. If you look at your 025/250 parts list the part number you will see is 1123 007 1061. the kit you will get from stihl will be part number 0000 007 1072. Maybe someone with more knowledge will step in and say why.

Back to the carb kit. The RB-105 kit for your C1Q-S76 for most newer 1123 series saws share most of the same parts. the only different parts are the inlet lever spring, metering diaphragm and meter diaphragm gasket. going to go and check out a RB-161 kit witch fits a C1Q-S187 and see if it has the missing pieces. Not sure about the welch plugs as i usually don't change them when i rebuild the carb.
