The Walbro 194 doesn't have the compensator type metering valve vent like the later 026 carburetors did.

I chose to not run the compensator and I plugged the extra hole in the air filter with a foam ear plug like is described in the other thread in the forum..

But if your old carburetor was the compensator type and you would like to run it, just use the metering valve compensator cover from your old Walbro on your new WT-194.

The compensator merely takes its pressure reference signal from inside the air filter. Supposedly it helps to keep your mixture balanced as your air filter becomes more plugged. But some people do not like it.
