Stihl 181 - help identifying small part?
« on: May 05, 2021, 03:55:44 am »
Hello.

My Stihl MS 181 has a spark problem so I took out the ignition unit. I've come to reassemble it and have a part left that I can't identify.

Is anyone able to identify this for me? I have the parts list and service manual but still can't work out what it is.

Thanks for any help

Simon

Goes on the left side of the cylinder (if you are standing behind the saw) and holds the ht lead and module leads. It pushes onto the cylinder fins
