I have no need for a Picco rim but the kid at the parts counter a few yrs back gave me the mini spline 8T by mistake and I never bothered taking it back.
From seeing how the standard 3/8 larger drive links hang up on the Picco after about the 4th drive link wrapped around the rim I saw no fit there. But then I may be just a little fussy. Wearing in that big chain on that rim after a couple of seconds WOT probably would work out just fine for the short term. I got both my Husky 338XPT and Stihl MS200T converted over to .325 Oregon 20LPX and I love it that way.

When I tried picco chain or rims, they only had to run for 4 seconds at a time.

Picco would be useless for my work. Too slow and not strong enough.

I agree, thats why I converted my little top handles over to .325 chisel. Now I have a "real work chain". Saws handle it real nice and cut faster plus a longer life cutter.
But then talking to other fellas they figure the little consumer grade Picco is the best thing since sliced bread.

Oils like it should now. Almost empty when the gas runs out. Running a 15" 3/8 setup.

Got tired of waiting for the adjustment screwdriver from the dealer. Took the limiter tab off the 261, put a slot in the jet for a regular screwdriver. Plug was grey to white at full rich (14,400). Set now at 13,800. Nice torque increase.

Got to put a 254 Husky together, think the 261 is stronger.
