I saw that too. It's just that I seriously doubt anyone can get a 170/180 to perform as those depicted in his videos with just those changes. I'm sure you've held one of those saws, or two or three. I don't trust the guy for all the reasons given. I wish a guy could get a mouse saw to perform at that level with by simply making the changes he states he makes. Hell, if that were the case, I should put 72" bar and 10 pin sprocket on my 440 and ditch any need for my bigger saws.

I wanna "Race Only" MS180  ::)

Perhaps, designed for stock class midget racers!

We used to have a 40cc and under class at our racing gtg's. Rear handle saws and top handle 2 separate classes.

 I think it may of been Al that nicknamed the top handle 40cc under class bumble bee's.

This is a box stock early production MS180 with a well sharpened chain.. It's the best running 180 I have tried.

The first min 1:35 seconds of this video was 40cc under all ran together.  Not all the saws ran are in video.  They all had semi chisel chain on them back then.  Sure would have liked to had the stihl PS or PS3 back then.  Then it would have been squared files too. Both would have been better then what was offered back then IMO.  I ran VXL.

Thinking this cant was a very dry  sycamore.

Red one woods ported redmax 3800 vxl

Grey one woods ported Ryobi redmax 400 semi chisel brand?

White one woods ported Stihl 200 rear handle semi chisel brand?

I asked that guy about his "race only" 880...I asked what coil he's running and he didn't even know what I was talking about! He said with his 10 tooth its a hot saw...so I sent him vids of a few of my 084 and 3120 hot saws...it shut him up.
