Stihl experimental chainsaw.  I just have to save this video here. Most ingenious work I have seen in a long time.

Most likely the world's first and only turbine powered chainsaw. A "one-off" designed and built by Andre Prager and Matt Santjer.
Why? Because it hasn't been done before! Fully functional, automatic start, zero vibration, superb power to weight ratio, ...if it only wouldn't have 4 times the fuel consumption... and the shooting flames! ;)

Not impressed.  Waste of money 

Stihl needs to put their efforts toward getting their current offerings working.    Stihl used to build a bullet proof chainsaw and its not that way anymore.

It's impressive though, pulls the chain good  from what I can see . Probably just a out of the box chain.

Saying "zero vibration " is not a good reference. As vibration from a single cylinder 2 stroke is only a small fraction of what the  sawchain produces...
