I don't remember any extra washer under the clutch. Stihl may have gone to an extra ball in the main bearings,Stihil used the teflon cage in their bearings then,far superior to the old metal caged beariings Husky used. Stihil also used "tighter" main bearings than Husky or others . Stihl bearings had a C-2 rating (tighter tolerance) the others used looser C-3 bearings.
