I like the Episan pistons also. I think they are right there with meteor quality wise.

episan has been good quality for a long time :) used them for the slowmobiles as they were one of the lightest aftermarket pistons out there. held up WAY better then any wiseco i used in the same place. they seemed to take the rpm's better and not loose a skirt like a wiseco. actually, most of the polaris engines i put wiseco's in would get about half a season before ruining a good bottomend >:(
i won't touch a wiesco product anymore. i find it funny that even the kimpex pistons would hold up better than the wiseco's. and they're the cheapest replacements out there for a snow machine :D

Thanks for the review on the Mako P&C have been curiuos about quality.  I just did an Ahlborn BBK for Dol/Mak 6401.  I was very pleased with quality.  I thought it was better than the NWP BBK and my cost was $80.00.  Asked John where their pistons and P&C kit were made he said Tiawan.   Just put an Ahlborn piston in a MS 460.  Very little casting flash in windows took me more time to change bits than it did to smooth things out.  Very pleased with fit and finish on this my first Ahlborn piston.   Neighbor dropped a tree on his low hr. 034 gave me the carcass.  Have been able to salvage but too many fins are broken off of the cyl.   When I get to it I'll order an 036 P&C from Ahlborn under $90.00 Nikasil plating.  Hope it's as nice as the BBK.  The problem with Ahlborn is ship cost MS460 piston $15.50 + $5.00 handling chg. + ship Fedex $12.00=$17.00 shipping.  I will complain the next time I order.  Really PO'd about ship cost.  Their fuel lines are junk had problems with 2-MS290 would not seal in the tank.   2-026 pulled in two.  1-MS460 pulled in two 1-too lg. for tank had. a heck of a time getting it to seal.

Have you tried their yellow fuel line or the rolls of black?  The yellow looks like a Tygon copy but clearer yellow.

Have been using some of both the black and yellow.  Haven't been using either one long enough to pass judgement (6months).  Using yellow for the tiny one for weedeaters. Black for the rest.

Have you noticed the line you have used getting stiff or not pliable?  The clear and clearer yellow I have used in the past hardened up in a years time.

Never tried the black or yellow roll listed there yet. Will wait on your experience and feedback down the road.

Least now I know to stay away from their molded lines. Thanks for info.

i use that yellow stuff from oregon. seems to stay pliable forever and doesn't shrink or turn to a black goo :)
i've also used windshield washer tubing. it's made to carry methanol. the only problem i have encountered is now they seem to be adding a sort of strip of rubber (like a mold line) along the side of the tubing. makes it harder to have it seal.
