ms 250 chain tensioner
« on: September 17, 2014, 10:51:11 pm »
My chain adjusting screw broke in half how do you remove it from the housing? I put a pair of vise grips on the adjuster screw and adjusted it forward to get to the torx screw underneath it, and the main clutch cover studs are removed , I seem to be missing something to get this thing out what is it?

If you are talking about a regular 025/MS250

There's just a screw that goes into the case adjacent to the screw where one adjusts the chain tension. This holds all the adjuster mechanism in place.

I have three of these . . .

I don't know anything about the "C" model with the big toothed adjust wheel for chain tension.

See instructions below
