Does the 270 have a metal crankcase and is it closed or open port, thanks.

Looks like metal in these ebay pics with clamshell design cylinder.  Bloodontheice is a stihl dealer he would know for sure.

Yes looks like a metal clamshell design, kind a of different, looks to be half pro and half homeowner saw. thanks.
