ms150tc
« on: February 03, 2016, 12:36:40 pm »
Bought a couple ms150tc saws for the old guys (me and my business partner, lol) to use as climbing saws. My employees snickered at the saw because of the size and light weight, but they quickly changed their tune after seeing it cut, lol

Must say that the saw is very fast cutting up to 5-6" inches and feels awsome in hand! Way better saw than the 192 series IMO!

Pulled the spark arrester and ran em!! They run great and are quite impressive.  Had two of my climbers try them and they run them 90% of the time now, have to get a couple more so the other guys don't feel left out.  They will save a lot of wear and tear on muscles and joints while pruning all day long....  Kinda hard jetting use to the tiny files!!!!  Lol

I have not seen a MS150 before.   I have been doing some work for a tree service in Cheyenne but his stuff is 192's.    I will have to keep a eye open for a 150 to see if he would like one.

Bought two more of the ms150tc's today, fueled them up at the jobsite and one of them was Dead ON Arrival!  Lol.  Would fire and backfire out the exhaust. Took it backed and swapped it for another! No issues...  possibly a sheared or improperly installed fanwheel or coil assembly as the timing was off.

First problem like this I've ever had with a new saw, kinda odd...
