MS200T Carb
« on: February 04, 2014, 04:19:55 pm »
I finally got around to replacing the top handle on my 200T.
There was a small crack in the handle and I found a good used one real cheap.
What a PITA that is to replace the handle.
Anyway, when removing the carb, I checked the number on it so I could order a rebuild kit for it.
My ILP shows that the carbs are either an C1Q-S61 or S32
The stamp on my carb shows S16A

Any thoughts on why there might be an S16A in my 200T?  I am probably the 3rd owner of this chainsaw.
I know that the old, retired guy I bought this 200T from was a real good mechanic with a full shop, mainly worked on motorcycles.

Betting your carb is off the 020T.

Thanks Kevin,
Did not want to order the wrong rebuild kit.
I could not see any other modifications, so the S16A must be a straight swap for the originals.
