I've never worked much on my saws. I bought them as they are a couple years ago and other than looking at and using them, I don't know much about those two models.

I changed the carb to a new twin needle one on the 025 and the 026 bar was changed from 20" X .325 X .063 to 16" X 3/8" X .050

I had to set the coil clearance on the 026 as it was rubbing on the flywheel. The 026 PRO already had a twin needle carb.

About the only thing common on the two saws is the spark plug.
