I  just use drywall screw.  Screw in pull quick and pops out most times. Sometimes it might not, so just repeat.

Thanks.
I was not sure exactly what to do.
That did the trick.  Screwed in, pulled out.  No more limiters.

Insert ear plugs.
Pull cord.
A couple of tweeks and a check with the tach.
Another ajustment.
Yee Haa.

Some folks state to reinstall the caps after adjusting to keep the screws from creeping.  The ones I have did for many firewood cutters and some of my own never had a problem with this.

Just so you know if you notice anything changing.

Another way is to use a drill and drill motor and drill the plastic till your hit metal than use screw it till you can get the plastic off the back of the screw

I haven't seen it come out of tune not having the plastic limiter on that screw

I like leaving the limiters on but just removing the tabs from them.

i feel that the caps help hold the screw in position, as there are no springs on the screws to hold the screw from moving one way or the other. just trim the taps off and put the caps back on like 660 said.
