I'm cursed. Every homeowner must have a 290. Another one came in today for the muffler mod and carb re tune.

I have found that when you start to remove the nuts, if they start to get tight on the threads and rust go back the other way. Like you are tightening them. With a little kroil or blaster for some lube. And just keep working them back and forth. It takes some time but worth it.

I tried this today while making chain loops up.

Sprayed PB loosen little starts to get tight, spray walk away. Come back loosen little spray and loosen little more, spray walk away. It took awhile but I finally got all 3 off without taking off threads or breaking a bolt. This is only the 2nd 290 310 390 I have gotten all 3 off of.
