The old diesel fuel douce works on a lot of them .The really stubborn  ones might require a half a tank of WD-40 especially on one that sat on a barn floor for a score of years .

Oh say while the subject of oil or problems there of I recently had an awakening .I had a jug of peanut oil I had left in my car .The temp was in the teens and that stuff was about like lard .I just wonder since that happened how the folks that attempt to use veggie/salad oil for bar lube make out in cold weather. My guess is not so good .

Whenever I drain the gas and or oil from my saws, I use the paper paint filters to filter out the fines
