stihlguy just told me this =   I saw a prototype of this unit while at training at STIHL. It was used for straight gas seizure training and at that time it had a ceramic coated, magnesium piston. There wasn't any real benefit to the ceramic coating apparently, so now it's solely magnesium.
It wasn't clear if it would replace or stand along side the 362, but it does utilize many of the 362 components.
