Chainsaw Repair

 ;)i agree on the drum splitting, al . but the clip was still in place when he shut it down :)i actualy reused the clip as there was no damage to it. not even a slight rub mark. and if sombody needs the spider, it's in good shape as well
it only has to last a month or so. he really wants to get a couple of husky 3120s'. no idea why. these 880s' have been very good to him. and they've seen more actual work then most 880s'really ever would.
i pulled the muffler and carb off of this one to have a quick look (the carb had to be rebuilt anyway) and you can see the skirt is starting to wear near the bottom on what looks to be both sides. there isn't any piston slap and everything still fits tight but you can see whats next to wear out.
you have to realize, this saw would be ran from 6 in the morning until 6 at night for 5-6 months straight. and has basicly been doing that for whats actually almost 3 years. plus any milling he does. granted, he changes out the saws a couple times a day just to give them a look over and sharpening, but you get the idea.
