Stihl 015 oiling problem
« on: April 25, 2017, 10:25:26 am »
Hi Guys,

I picked up one of these for cheap and while it starts and runs nicely can't get it to oil the chain.  Had the oiler out and all looks well.  OIl seep through the supply hole when the oiler is out of the saw.  Looks like you have to take off the front oil/fuel cover to see whats going on inside the tanks.  I can't quite figure out the ipl re oil lines.  A bit confusing.  Any help appreciated.

Looking at the ipl and the service manual, it looks like you may have to undo the 4 bolts that hold the cylinder to the crankcase.  That would be awkward.
