I don't understand what you mean. What is  " oil filt "  ..

I am talking about the screw which I left sticking out in the picture, screwed in halfway only. I don't know if thats the right place for it or if something else goes there or if its even the right size screw.

Just a junction terminal screw

It should be M5 by 18 panhead . There evidently is 4 of the center case bolts if I read the IPL correctly . A case bolt I wouldn't think would have anything under it .

Well yes the junction evidently to the kill switch needs a nut on it .

A case bolt would be a good explanation.  I figure the only other electrical that could fit there would be the capacitor but why ground a capacitor coming from a switch. so it must be a case bolt. If it explodes I'll let you guys know.

What you ought to do is take that digital camera and take some pictures if you aren't certain how it goes back together .---before you take it apart ---

I can usually remember where things go but I had to put this down for a few weeks to do other things.

its complete now but if you take yours apart some reference pics would be nice.  I'm mainly interested in how things
go under the black plastic cover and where the hose goes from the crankcase.
