I also just dug this up.

Stihl 024 chain saws were the smallest of Stihlís semi-professional saws produced from 1982 from 1994.  The came in three different variations over those years, but 3 of those variations came in different engine sizes.  Some of the exact specifications are unknown throughout the numerous variations.

The Stihl 024 was celebrated as a great light-weight saw was respectable performance for its day.  The saw is great for cutting smaller wood with bar lengths from 16-20″.   This saw eventually turned into Stihlís newest model the MS 240 with 41.6 cc and 2.9 hp.

Both Tilloston and Walbro carburetors have been used on 024s.  The general factory settings are 1 turn out for the H & L screws.
