The $20 carb came from the closest Stihl dealer to my house. But it was a twin needle carb for the 025 and not a 026.

I also bought another twin needle carb for a Stihl 55R weed whacker at the next closest Stihl dealer but it was $22.

i was looking last night and the cheapest I saw a WT-194 on the Internet was at Edge and Engine and it was $57. most were $59

The 194 is not an exact match for most 026's as it doesn't have the metering valve vent that plugs into the air filter but the cover can be swapped across on the carbs or the vent hole in the air filter can be plugged with a foam ear plug like i did. The throttle and choke hook right up and that's what matters.

FWIW the older 026 used a Wt 22B carb .Might  be another option .It's a two needle deal also .

Some of them had a self advancing coil .Kinda complicated how it actually worked but being non repairable if it didn't you only have the choice to replace it .

FWIW I have an 042 that did pretty much the same and about drove me bonkers before  I figured  it out .
