I think you can put what's left of the p&c and crank, plus some spare change in your back pocket now (from what I've heard  :o).  :'(

I don't have any idea why so many people have a thing for "numbers " because if you haven't got an area in mind you'll never get the port time area open formulas to work .

I don't how many people niave as they are have filed an exhaust port up to maybe 94 on opening without raising the comp increasing the transfer area or any  intake work then brag how fast it runs only to have it fall on its face in the cut .All they end up with is loud . ??? Now that really proves a lot ,geeze .

Al some people keep records of porting numbers that worked in certain saws in a little black book. Then they can use those numbers and modify as needed to look for gains. Saves them from having them from doing the work when they couldnt get a 026 to run as good as this 026. So they stick these 026 numbers in and go from there.  ;)

Just like my first 5000 plus cylinder was a copy of MVP5000 alky cylinder and they were approved afterwords with little gains here and there.  ;D  The same reason when I hear a ported 372 I can hear that it is a Dan Henry saw or one that has been copied. I have only heard 2 builders with that sound of PP372 and Dan built saws for the 2nd builder.  346 same way. etc etc
