In my opinion, if comparing to a 026, you will find a 028wood boss or super to feel more torquey. Been there done that. As with any series i dont think they all run the same, I've have some 026's that are good runners and some that was so-so. Having run a p5000 too,I cant say how it is to compare but I think you will  like the throttle and handle bar better.
