Most of the 024's I see around here 100-200 and close to like new looking.

I didn't know that. One of mine was taken in trade with 2 other Stihls and one was 125, looks like a saw it's age that's been used but runs excellent. Those are the only 2 I've found here.

However, 026 and 260s are everywhere. I would like a like new 024 though.  I USE my saws but I've seen some restoration threads and it looks like fun. Much as I love the 024 I can't think of one I'd rather restore. Kind of want the 2 I have the way they are though. Even on a hard day cutting Osage Orange, they're my go to saws.

I think Al Smith about a hour from me just did a thread here on one that he redid that was gave to him or came cheap.
