Chainsaw Repair

I am needing a choke lever, 1108 084 4110 for a Stihl 08, I think it may be the early 08 because I've found them for the later, I think, but they're not the same. A friends dad bought it new in the 60's and wont's it to run again,I got it running just by putting new gas line and filter but it has to have the lever. He's 95 years old but he wants what he wants

I think so, I never saw the other one but on the ipl they list two different ones and this one is the one that looks like it will work. I saw that website but couldn't figure out how to order from them and I also emailed a place in England that listed it but they never answered, I think the Corony has gotten to the computors also, it said at the site they might be a little slow because of it. Oh well, I got it running ok, I think the owner can do his part and find one, he owns a distibuting outfit. If anyone has one in the near future let me know.
