Read this by spike60 to EHP

ED, the 462 is a different animal for fuel use.  And if i was a Stihl guy, I'd choose it over the 500. The 500 uses more fuel because it needs more fuel for cooling. They also eliminated their version of air injection so that all intake air at the flywheel is used for cooling; nothing to spare for helping with air filtration.

Mitch =  3-4 seconds faster than a stock 572, 6-7 seconds slower than my ported 572 and 17-18 seconds behind my ported 7310. Almost have two of either of those other for the price of one. Feels good though.

Mitch has another great thread going on chainsaw repair group facebook

Wont say which tech but alot of them on the CRG  = INFO ADDED!   After a conversation with a tech, I've been informed three sensors exist.  One being a crank case barometric sensor and two temp sensors.  This is how the ecu sorts out fueling map.    If you made it through the 38 minutes, God bless you and thanks for watching!
