Stihl carbs
« on: December 11, 2011, 02:56:24 pm »
Stihl carbs are really dropping in price. Sell some now for $23 that were $106 this spring. Replacing carbs now instead of putting in kits at the shop. More carbs are suppposed to drop in price next year.

Hope quality is not going the same direction as the cost of carbs.

Zama USA makes no mention of it but that doesn't mean that it didn't happen.

It's rather surprising that anything sold under the name of Stihl would drop in price .

Ed, can't say for sure on the 066 carb yet. We were told to expect carb prices to drop in the new year for many models. As for now the 230/250 carb dropped bigtime.
