Never had a 170. Guessing 140-150psi range and you wouldnt want no lower then 120psi.

 I have had a few saws that start, run and cut fine at 120 and I knew they were needing new rings. I have a 372 in that psi right now.  Thats as low as I have seen one start and run good at.
