Well I have put 30 tanks thru the little saw now. It is my go to saw for everything. I am blocking a 6 cord load of wood for Dad now. 10 tanks and about a cord left. Tank is small but I can live with it. Seems to be 2 tanks per cord. Wood is 4 to 16 inches. Great torque for a little saw, (the M-tronic 261 must be quite a saw). The only small stock saw that I have is a 152 Efco. The 241 is equal to it or better. I like the .325 setup better than the 63 P3 stock one. I am trying to find a 45cc 346 to try it against. Should be close.

Used the 241 for the supplied stock saw race at the local fire dept fundraiser. New 95 VP chain. Guys not used to running a small saw ran in the 9-11 sec range for 2 cuts in 7x7 poplar. Man that won has a MS250 so he was able to make a 6.4 cut.

I put a 23RS chain on it and ran in the 0-50cc stock class. Won with it. 3 cuts in 8x8 polar. 11.38 sec. Beat 026's, and a 346OE.

I like these little saws.

That's awsome!  Just picked up a 261 cm looking forward to running it.  Was the picco chain slower than the .325?

Have everything to test with except time to do it. That should change soon. Told the boss if I don't get some Saturdays off I'm gone.

The 6 tooth picco setup may be ok but the 7 tooth we get here doesn't seem to hold with the .325 setup. Will get some video Sat. All the guys that bought 241s like the .325 better.

Going to test picco 7 and 8 tooth.
.325 7 and 8 tooth.
