Not in the system yet here, in the next 2-4 months is when we should be getting them.
Doubt they be a big seller for us, since they're $550

Looks like our 241 will come with 7 tooth picco rim setup and 63PS56 chain.

Sounds awesome!  Looks like Stihl has done their homework. Perfect setup for this saw.

Picco may be ok in your application, or the firewood pile. Chain is too weak for the work I used to do. Mine will get the .325 setup.

Checked the other day and they're in stock at our distributor.

Might get one for myself for thinning out the hundreds of Iron wood trees on my parents land.

I have put 4 tanks thru my 241. Really like the saw. Did 2 tanks with the 63 PS3 chain and 7 tooth picco rim. Fast and smooth. Chain came off twice and 1 tooth bent. This may be a good special purpose chain, but not the chain for me. I put a .325 setup on for the next 2 tanks and like it better. That is how most will leave the shop.

Husky 242/246 used to be my favorite small saw until now. Good on gas, great revs. Muffler mods to come.

I got mine today. Couldn't help but run them against a couple similar sized saws I have at the shop. Outfitted with a Picco 16" bar, full fuel and oil, it weighed in at 13.7lbs.  I have an 024 with a 16" .325 setup and it weighed 14.1lbs ready to go.  I also have an 025 than has an MS250 engine and WT215 carb, it weighed in at 13.4lbs with a 16" .325 setup.

In wood the 241 and the 250 were neck and neck, as was expected because of their similar power rating. They both blew away the older 024. It's going to be a hard sell to many of my customers to step up to a 241 vs the 251 at over a $200 premium for the 241.  I have no issues upselling people into pro saws on the larger saws, but this small one is going to be tough.

I agree that the 241 is going to be a hard sell. It is a nice saw however.

Put a 15" K095 mount bar on the 241. No work to the bar but had to go to a 63dr chain instead of 64. Now running .058 chain. May modify the bar to take a 62 dr chain. We stock 62 dr for the 14.5 inch .058 ms261 bar.

Now that the time has changed hope to get some pics and video up. 3 years of working 6 days a week is starting to get on my nerves. Time for a change.
