That MS250 is mine and I use it to limb and prune with. I've not had any trouble with it since Kevin fixed it a couple years ago.  I have not looked into the tank to notice how long the line is inside the tank? But Tygon will not stretch like the original line.
We should share what we know... someone may learn...
