That MS250 is mine and I use it to limb and prune with. I've not had any trouble with it since Kevin fixed it a couple years ago.  I have not looked into the tank to notice how long the line is inside the tank? But Tygon will not stretch like the original line.

I dont remember how long I left the line coming out of the tank.  Made for easy pics to show folks though.

The whole purpose was to show how you could run 1 line and bypass stihl oem line. Then use different filters on the end too, there again bypass stihl filters.  Longer line was a easy way to show this.  ::)

As the MS250 runs well, I'm not about to look in its mouth. We may never know?

The OEM fuel lines are notorious from cracking.

Stihl 390 I did today after the new  aftermarket fuel line kept kinking.

Use the old tank grommet from the oem line and a husky style fuel filter on the tygon.

Pretty slick.  I will have to log that one in for some future repair on Stihls.   I think I own 3 now.

Never paid attention. I just find which line from my bulk line that fits carb inlet and goes through grommet.
